Each year Cutalong Golf Club aims to serve the local community by hosting charity golf events and fundraisers. In years past, Cutalong has helped raise over $100,000 dollars for various organizations in Louisa County and across the greater Lake Anna community.

Foundation for Lake Anna EMS: New Bridge Station is the first fire and rescue station funded by county funds ($2.3M). The other 7 stations were constructed through the generosity of the local communities. This year’s Tournament will help fund a Brush Truck for New Bridge Station. Brush trucks are essential for fire departments serving rural communities like ours.

Piedmont Christian School Fundraiser: Piedmont Christian School is proudly hosting our 2nd Annual Fundraising Golf Tournament. Their mission is to train students to grow spiritually and excel academically by offering a biblically integrated curriculum that equips them to positively impact the world.

4WARD Charity Foundation: 4WARD’s mission is to advocate for mental health awareness, foster understanding, destigmatize mental health, and promote mental well-being by supporting accessible resources and empowering individuals to prioritize their own mental health journeys.

Veterans Golf Association: In 2024, Cutalong hosted two events for the Veterans Golf Association. The VGA is dedicated to enriching the lives of Veterans and their family members through the camaraderie and sportsmanship of golf. Cutalong is excited to host another great event in August 2025 to continue to support Virginia’s Veterans.

Louisa Chamber Event: The Louisa Forward Foundation and the Louisa County Chamber of Commerce host THE CHAMBER CHALLENGE annually in October at Cutalong Golf Club. This event supports the annual scholarship for Louisa County High School graduating seniors, the Legacy Campaign and to further their mission to support local business and our community.

Lake Anna Civic Association: Lake Anna Civic Association’s mission is to preserve and protect the cleanliness, beauty, and safe use of Lake Anna and its watershed through communication, advocacy, education, and community involvement to benefit the membership and all lake users.
