The highly anticipated Lion’s Den Restaurant officially opened its doors on Valentine’s Day, marking a successful debut that exceeded expectations.
The restaurant held a soft opening on February 13, giving the team an opportunity to fine-tune operations before the official launch.
“I loved dinner,” said Grayson Hoffman, who attended the soft opening with his wife, Ashley Hoffman. “I can’t wait to go back.”
By the grand opening weekend, word had spread—every table was fully booked.
Owner Rosie Taormina, who also owns Vito’s Italian Restaurant & Grill, described the launch as a tremendous success, with everything coming together even better than expected.
“It really couldn’t have gone any better,” Rosie shared. “Each day was better than the last. The staff and servers learned quickly, and we’ve improved every day since opening.”
The restaurant, located in a historic building off of Tavern Rd. in Mineral, and previously known as “Tavern on the Rail” is currently open from Wednesday through Sunday from 4pm to 9pm and is taking reservations.
A grand opening is being planned with the Louisa County Chamber of Commerce.

Hi! I’m Jennifer Bailey and I partner with entrepreneurs who have massive ideas that could change the world. Most marketing is meaningless. Filled with empty promises, its only job is to bring in new traffic, new leads, and new customers. But I’ve drawn a line in the sand, and I’ve learned that marketing can do so much more than reach business goals and build profit. My methods give businesses the fire and soul they need to reach the right people, set the groundwork for sustainable relationships, and offer true value to the people on both the giving and receiving ends of marketing.
