The holiday season is in full swing, and let me tell you, there is no shortage of light displays within an hour’s driving distance! Here are driving and walking light tours for families to enjoy:

1. Moore Lights in Wyndemere

Did you know we have a custom light show right here at Lake Anna? Running nightly at 5223 Wyndemere Circle in Mineral, the show runs through December 31st from 5:30-9:30 p.m.

Locally tune your radio to 97.7 FM to hear the music.

2. Lake Anna’s Light Tour Map

Thanks to Roosters & Foxes social club, Lake Anna Chatter and some other online FB groups, we’ve curated a list of some local houses that claim to be “all decked out” for the holidays! Lake Anna’s very first light tour map of houses shall commence!

Please note, each of these house addresses were submitted to us to add to the map, and none of them have been vetted or checked for their awesomeness 😉 Get your house on the list by emailing [email protected].

3. Coyote Hole Light Show

Coyote Hole & Mineral Brewing is offering a free light show every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 6pm-9pm Starting on through December 30th 2023! They have fire pits and special seating available.

4. Richmond Tacky Light Tour:

So, back in 1985, this DJ from Richmond, Mad Dog Gottlieb, booked a bus for a “tacky lights” tour… which turned out to be a massive hit! The Richmond Times-Dispatch got wind of it and started putting together the Tacky Lights list in 1989. And guess what? They’ve been doing it every year since then.

You can enjoy it, too! Grab some hot cocoa, load up the car, and enjoy the whimsical and creative decorations that make this tour a beloved holiday tradition.
