Thirteen outstanding seniors from Louisa, Orange, and Spotsylvania counties were recognized Tuesday evening, June 3, as the Belmont Ruritan Club and the Belmont Club of Women hosted their annual awards dinner and scholarship ceremony.

Held at the Belmont Ruritan Center, the event brought together students, community leaders, and local supporters to celebrate the 2025 recipients of the clubs’ combined scholarship programs. In total, $26,000 was awarded in the form of thirteen $2,000 scholarships—benefiting graduating seniors from each of the three counties the Belmont Center serves.
This year’s recipients were recommended by high school leaders including Mr. Brice Wilson (Orange County High School), Ms. Katie Williams (Louisa County High School), and Mr. Elliott Robinson (Spotsylvania County High School).
Special guests included Spotsylvania Supervisor Jack Lane and Louisa Supervisor Duane Adams, who both offered encouraging words to the students, emphasizing the importance of community service and “paying it forward.”
Local business supporters Dr. Michael Clark of Smile Lake Anna and Suzie Squiers of The Cove were also in attendance, reflecting the growing partnership between civic organizations and local businesses to invest in the next generation.
The Belmont Ruritan Club and Belmont Club of Women remain committed to serving their tri-county region through scholarships, civic service, and community collaboration.

Hi! I’m Jennifer Bailey and I partner with entrepreneurs who have massive ideas that could change the world. Most marketing is meaningless. Filled with empty promises, its only job is to bring in new traffic, new leads, and new customers. But I’ve drawn a line in the sand, and I’ve learned that marketing can do so much more than reach business goals and build profit. My methods give businesses the fire and soul they need to reach the right people, set the groundwork for sustainable relationships, and offer true value to the people on both the giving and receiving ends of marketing.
