Last night was one for the books as stakeholders in the area gathered at Callie Opie’s Orchard for the much-anticipated annual awards ceremony hosted by the Lake Anna Business Partnership (LABP). It was a night filled with laughter, applause, and heartfelt recognition, as we celebrated the outstanding achievements of our local business leaders.
The atmosphere was electric as friends, colleagues, and fellow entrepreneurs came together to honor the best and brightest in our community. With Callie Opie’s Orchard providing the perfect backdrop, we kicked off the evening with a sense of excitement and anticipation.
As the awards were announced, cheers erupted throughout the room, each recognition met with enthusiastic applause and genuine admiration. At the center of it all were the winners, whose hard work, dedication, and innovation had set them apart and earned them well-deserved recognition.
Taking the Business of the Year Award was Lindsey McClellan and Jimmy Snyder from Sunset Properties. Their innovative approach to real estate and unwavering commitment to client satisfaction had earned them the respect and admiration of their peers.

The LABP welcomed Mad Batter Bakery into our community with open arms as they took home the Best New Member award. With their delicious treats and warm hospitality, they’ve quickly become a beloved addition to the Lake Anna family.
The Richard Binns Community Service Award went to the Dillard Family of Dillard Alarm Company, in recognition of their tireless efforts to give back and make a positive impact in our community. Their selflessness and generosity serve as an inspiration to us all.
Gary Griffith was honored with the Legacy Award, celebrating his enduring contributions to the Lake Anna business community over the years. His leadership, vision, and commitment to excellence have left an indelible mark on our community, and we are grateful for his continued presence and guidance.
The Lake Anna Business Partnership holds this annual celebration in February of each year to recognize outstanding businesses who have made an impact on the area.
Hi! I’m Jennifer Bailey and I partner with entrepreneurs who have massive ideas that could change the world. Most marketing is meaningless. Filled with empty promises, its only job is to bring in new traffic, new leads, and new customers. But I’ve drawn a line in the sand, and I’ve learned that marketing can do so much more than reach business goals and build profit. My methods give businesses the fire and soul they need to reach the right people, set the groundwork for sustainable relationships, and offer true value to the people on both the giving and receiving ends of marketing.
