Lake Anna, VA — Lake Anna celebrated a landmark event on November 9 with the official groundbreaking of Roundabout Plaza, marking the start of a vibrant new community center for the area. The Louisa County Chamber of Commerce and Koren Diversified Holdings hosted the event, gathering community leaders, local residents, and future business owners to commemorate the start of a long-anticipated vision.
Jon Koren, President of Koren Diversified Holdings, expressed the spirit behind the project during the ceremony: “Seven years ago, we had a vision of a place where families could go to eat, relax, play, and shop. Roundabout Plaza is the embodiment of that vision with places like the Lazy Parrot family restaurant, Mad Batter Bakery, Lake Anna Barbell Gym, Lake Anna Pickleball, and more! We’re excited to see it finally coming to life.”
New Offerings for Lake Anna Residents and Visitors
Set to open in 2025, Roundabout Plaza will feature a collection of businesses designed to meet the needs of Lake Anna’s growing community and attract visitors to the area. Along with family-friendly dining at The Lazy Parrot and freshly baked treats at Mad Batter Bakery, the plaza will offer Lake Anna Barbell Gym for fitness enthusiasts and Lake Anna Pickleball courts for recreational fun, creating a one-stop destination for dining, exercise, and entertainment.
“We want this space to be a place where families and friends gather, where new connections are made, and where people come back to time and again,” Koren shared with enthusiasm.
A Boost to Local Economy and Quality of Life
The Louisa County Chamber of Commerce has been a strong supporter of Roundabout Plaza, citing it as a key development in the county’s mission to foster business growth and community development. Beyond enhancing the quality of life, the plaza is expected to generate new job opportunities and bolster local businesses, making Lake Anna even more appealing to families, tourists, and the local workforce.
With the first shovels in the ground, the excitement is building as the community eagerly awaits the transformation of this vision into reality. Roundabout Plaza is set to become an essential part of Lake Anna’s landscape, reinforcing the area’s growing reputation as a family-friendly destination with more places to eat, shop, and unwind.

Hi! I’m Jennifer Bailey and I partner with entrepreneurs who have massive ideas that could change the world. Most marketing is meaningless. Filled with empty promises, its only job is to bring in new traffic, new leads, and new customers. But I’ve drawn a line in the sand, and I’ve learned that marketing can do so much more than reach business goals and build profit. My methods give businesses the fire and soul they need to reach the right people, set the groundwork for sustainable relationships, and offer true value to the people on both the giving and receiving ends of marketing.
