Your custom design on a shirt can be a reality in just a few minutes through state-of-the-art equipment only available next to High Point Marina and Lighthouse Inn.
Newly remodeled and ready to take customers, the apparel company is open for business, making hats, shirts and other clothing items both in bulk – and shirts on demand.
The brainchild of entrepreneur Justin Wood, 208 Apparel has been steadily making waves in the branded fashion scene since its inception. However, with the launch of its own retail location, Wood is taking his vision to new heights, quite literally overlooking the waters of Lake Anna.
The centerpiece of this retail revolution is the cutting-edge Direct To Garment (DTG) machine, a marvel of modern technology that allows customers to witness their designs come to life right before their eyes. Imagine walking into a store, sketching out your dream design, and moments later, holding it in your hands on a freshly printed shirt. This level of customization is unprecedented, offering locals and visitors a truly unique and memorable shopping experience.
The store promises visitors that they can come in during open hours, choose a style and size shirt they like, and get their own design printed right there and then. Patrons can choose from pre-existing designs or have their talented design team create something for them. Customers will get a text when their shirts are ready so they can enjoy their lake day, instead of waiting. They also have a shipping option, as well as the ability to print larger orders with screen printing options and embroidery.
“We’re trying to offer whatever people need whenever they need it,” explained Wood. “We’ll be adding more items as time goes on as well, and right now our store is packed with unique Lake Anna apparel and of course a ton of blank shirts ready to print on. We are keeping an open mind to see what people really want and what they are asking for… we will expand from there.”
With their grand opening Memorial Day Weekend, 208 Apparel will be open through the summer on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Wood began remodeling the building in January, which was formerly Lake Anna Outfitters. Lake Anna Outfitters is now located in a larger shop at Anna Point Marina, next to Home Point and Lake Anna Golf Carts.
“I wanted to bring a new and unique experience to the lake, I hope to get to meet a lot of new people and work on some new, exciting projects,” said Wood.
Hi! I’m Jennifer Bailey and I partner with entrepreneurs who have massive ideas that could change the world. Most marketing is meaningless. Filled with empty promises, its only job is to bring in new traffic, new leads, and new customers. But I’ve drawn a line in the sand, and I’ve learned that marketing can do so much more than reach business goals and build profit. My methods give businesses the fire and soul they need to reach the right people, set the groundwork for sustainable relationships, and offer true value to the people on both the giving and receiving ends of marketing.
