The Boardwalk Hotel on Lake Anna celebrates its grand opening tonight, Friday October 25, 2024, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by community members, local officials, and project stakeholders. Managed by Reef Capital Partners, and partnering with Kasa, this new lakefront hotel provides upscale accommodations and a community gathering space, addressing Lake Anna’s growing demand for high-quality lodging.

Originally announced as part of Reef Private Equity’s sister project to the Cutalong Golf Community, the 34-room Boardwalk Hotel has been designed to support the lake’s expanding tourism and local economy. Located within the Lake Anna Boardwalk complex next to Tim’s Restaurant and other local attractions, the hotel brings increased lodging capacity and job opportunities to the area.

The hotel boasts a variety of guest amenities and thoughtfully designed accommodations. The Boardwalk Hotel’s 34 rooms include suites with kitchenettes and flexible room configurations suitable for families or larger parties. All guests benefit from Kasa’s tech-enabled services, such as virtual check-in, a virtual front desk, and access to room amenities via digital interfaces.

“We are excited to introduce The Boardwalk Hotel to the vibrant Lake Anna community and guests from near and far,” said Kristy McGehee, Hospitality Manager at Reef Capital Partners.

Guests have access to lakefront recreational activities, including jet ski, kayak, and pontoon rentals, along with nearby attractions like wineries, guided fishing excursions, and local dining. The hotel’s location next to popular spots like Moo Thru Ice Cream, Mid Atlantic Water Sports, and Below Deck restaurant makes it a convenient choice for those seeking both relaxation and activities.

Community-oriented infrastructure improvements, such as enhanced septic and drainage systems, underscore Reef’s commitment to sustainable development. The Boardwalk Hotel’s approach minimized disruptions to nearby residents, with no significant impact on the adjacent VDOT road, Route 522.
