L ake Anna is revving up for one of the most electrifying weekends of the summer as the 26th Annual Jet Boat Invasion returns June 6–7. A staple for high-performance boating fans across the country, the event promises a fast-paced blend of speed, sun, and community spirit.
From the roar of finely-tuned engines to the relaxing beachside gatherings, this year’s event offers a little something for everyone—whether you’re a die-hard enthusiast or just looking for a memorable way to kick off summer.
Kicking off the weekend, the Lake Anna Taphouse will host a special Community Open House on Friday night, June 6th, from 6–9 PM. Everyone is invited to come out and meet the drivers, check out an impressive lineup of jet boats, and enjoy live music in a festive, family-friendly atmosphere.
“Whether you’re a seasoned jet boat enthusiast or someone just curious about these incredible machines, this is a chance to be part of something special,” said Chet Wojcik, one of the event organizers.
On Saturday, the action returns to Jack Weller’s residence on Bear Castle Road, where boats will be back on the water, and the beach becomes a social hub of lake life. A community luncheon to support Lake Anna EMS will be served from noon to 2 PM, offering a chance to give back while enjoying great food and conversation.
Live music takes center stage on Saturday as the Southern Explosion Band performs from 11 AM to 4 PM. From 10 AM to 5 PM, visitors can grab event t-shirts, mingle with boaters, and enjoy a vibrant mix of beach, boats, and great people.
With its signature mix of high-speed boating, laid-back beach vibes, and warm hospitality, the Jet Boat Invasion continues to be one of the East Coast’s most anticipated lake events.

Hi! I’m Jennifer Bailey and I partner with entrepreneurs who have massive ideas that could change the world. Most marketing is meaningless. Filled with empty promises, its only job is to bring in new traffic, new leads, and new customers. But I’ve drawn a line in the sand, and I’ve learned that marketing can do so much more than reach business goals and build profit. My methods give businesses the fire and soul they need to reach the right people, set the groundwork for sustainable relationships, and offer true value to the people on both the giving and receiving ends of marketing.
