
Woof! I love being outside when it’s cold – like it is now. The colder the better for me!
My two-legged pack-family takes me out to go swimming every day – no matter how warm or cold, but I like the cold best! When I go out to swim, my pack-family calls it, “Beau’s Throws.” It’s a thing!
And the cold is definitely the best! You see, unlike you two-leggers who have fur in just a couple of places, I have fur all over my body…. and it keeps me nice and warm. (I do feel a little bit sorry for two-leggers because they have to put on all sorts of weird cloth stuff when it gets cold outside.)
I don’t think my two-legged pack-dad likes the cold as much as I do. He has some sort of thing by the lake that makes fire. He sits in front of it the whole time while I’m swimming. Sometimes his teeth clack together a little bit. But, as you two-leggers say, the show must go on! Or as I say, “My throws must go on!”
Here’s something else I like about the cold times. A long time ago, some cool white stuff fell out of the sky and stuck on the ground! That was the best! I swam in the lake and then rolled around on my back in the white stuff. I kicked it everywhere and even ate a little bit of it. Try it… It’s good. I dig the white stuff.
Now that it’s cold during my swims, it reminds me of that good white stuff. I hope it comes back soon. Woof!
