When you escape to Lake Anna, the last thing you want to do is spend half your weekend cleaning spider webs, setting out dock furniture, or waiting on a repairman. That’s exactly why Amy Stewart and Steve Smith launched Lake Anna Home Concierge Services- to take the work out of your fun and give you peace of mind until you can return.
The idea for the business came about a few years ago, when Steve, Amy’s stepdad, was preparing for retirement. Talking with friends at the lake, they kept hearing the same frustration: by the time they finished putting the house in order, Saturday was half gone—and Sunday meant packing it all back up again. Amy and Steve saw a need and turned it into a service that makes lake life easier.
Since then, they’ve built a thriving family-run business, joined by Amy’s father and Steve’s good friend, Chuck, offering personalized home and property care for part-time and seasonal residents.
Lake Anna Home Concierge Services is geared toward homeowners who live away from the lake during the week, or during the winter, but want the comfort of knowing everything is taken care of.
Concierge services include home, dock & boat preparations, weekly house checks while you’re away, including after storms, mail and package retrieval and meeting service providers for repairs, emergency response and light yard work and lawn care… plus just about anything else you can imagine the customer might ask for!
The trio have handled everything from arranging flowers to surprise a spouse, to giving jet ski lessons, to storm recovery. They pride themselves on being flexible, affordable, and family-oriented.
“We want to provide a service to the community,” Steve explains. “If someone calls us frantic about flooding in their yard, we’ll get there and help. I’ve always enjoyed helping people, and this allows us to do it in a meaningful way.”
For Amy, it’s not just about the work—it’s about the people. “We love this community. My family has lived here for nearly three decades. Being able to support our neighbors and help them enjoy the lake is really special.”
If you’d like to take the hassle out of your weekends at the lake, or want to rest easier while you’re away, reach out to Lake Anna Home Concierge Services today by calling 540-672-8507 or Email [email protected].
Let Amy, Steve, and Chuck handle the chores so you can focus on what matters most…making memories at Lake Anna.

Hi! I’m Jennifer Bailey and I partner with entrepreneurs who have massive ideas that could change the world. Most marketing is meaningless. Filled with empty promises, its only job is to bring in new traffic, new leads, and new customers. But I’ve drawn a line in the sand, and I’ve learned that marketing can do so much more than reach business goals and build profit. My methods give businesses the fire and soul they need to reach the right people, set the groundwork for sustainable relationships, and offer true value to the people on both the giving and receiving ends of marketing.
