Joey Cutright and Ashley Poole, a devoted couple from Virginia, have embarked on a heartfelt journey they’ve dubbed the “Road to Baby Cutright,” as they endeavor to expand their family against the odds. Their story is one of resilience, love, and the unwavering desire to give their family the gift of a new addition.
After five years of companionship, Joey and Ashley have made the joyous decision to welcome a new member into their family. Ashley, a strong single mother to her 14-year-old son Shane, has weathered her share of challenges, including escaping an emotionally abusive relationship. Determined to provide Shane with a stable and loving environment, Ashley made the difficult choice to undergo a tubal ligation in the past, believing it was the best decision for her and her son at the time.
Now, with newfound happiness and stability, Ashley and Shane are eager to embrace the prospect of welcoming a sibling into their lives. However, the path to expanding their family is not without obstacles. In Virginia, Ashley has faced limitations in finding a healthcare provider willing to perform a tubal ligation reversal, with many recommending costly alternatives like IVF, which come with no guarantees of success.
“Shane and I are the happiest we’ve ever been. He is so excited to finally have a sibling…” said Ashley.
Undeterred, the couple has set their sights on A Personal Choice, a specialized clinic in Raleigh, North Carolina, that offers the procedure they seek. However, the $8,000 cost of the surgery, along with additional expenses for travel and accommodations, presents a significant financial hurdle for the young family.
In a display of unwavering determination and community support, Joey and Ashley have turned to creative fundraising efforts to realize their dream of expanding their family.
Fundraising for Baby Cutright
The couple are doing two raffles to help them raise the funds they need. The first, a Yeti Cooler Raffle, offers $20 tickets for a Yeti cooler filled with adult beverages (shown in the photo here).
The second raffle is for a truck load of on-demand concrete, up to 10 yards. The winner will have concrete mixed and poured for them on site anything through the end of 2024. Each ticket is $100, and only 50 tickets are being made available.

Hi! I’m Jennifer Bailey and I partner with entrepreneurs who have massive ideas that could change the world. Most marketing is meaningless. Filled with empty promises, its only job is to bring in new traffic, new leads, and new customers. But I’ve drawn a line in the sand, and I’ve learned that marketing can do so much more than reach business goals and build profit. My methods give businesses the fire and soul they need to reach the right people, set the groundwork for sustainable relationships, and offer true value to the people on both the giving and receiving ends of marketing.
