A new commercial development is set to bring 50,000 to 90,000 square feet of professional and retail space to New Bridge Rd. Scheduled for completion by the end of 2025, the project aims to address the area’s growing need for accessible goods, services, and infrastructure.
Spearheaded by real estate experts Melanie Lucero and Michael Boyce II, husband and wife real estate team of The M Group, and Joe Gray III, owner of DKD Development LLC, this project aims to address the growing community’s unmet needs with innovative solutions.
The project will feature premium retail spaces, professional offices, and flexible multi-use spaces, all designed to offer essential services and new opportunities for the Lake Anna community. The project is strategically positioned off the lake to preserve the natural charm of Lake Anna while creating a much needed business hub for the community.
“Lake Anna has so much potential,” Melanie shared. “We want to help unlock that potential by creating spaces and services that enhance life here without compromising what makes the lake special.”
To kickstart the project, the development trio is inviting the community to help pick a name for the complex.
“We want this to be a place that the community loves,” Melanie said. “So, we’re inviting everyone to help us choose a name that resonates with the people who live, play and work here.”
There will be two rounds of voting. The first round, running through January, includes more than a dozen names. The top three names will make it to round two in February for the final vote. In addition to choosing the name, the development team is presenting color concepts for the project’s exterior and inviting residents to vote on their favorite look.
Construction will begin in late 2025, and pre-leasing is already underway through Melanie Lucero of The M Group. “We want to create a place where businesses can flourish, and the community benefits,” she explained.

Hi! I’m Jennifer Bailey and I partner with entrepreneurs who have massive ideas that could change the world. Most marketing is meaningless. Filled with empty promises, its only job is to bring in new traffic, new leads, and new customers. But I’ve drawn a line in the sand, and I’ve learned that marketing can do so much more than reach business goals and build profit. My methods give businesses the fire and soul they need to reach the right people, set the groundwork for sustainable relationships, and offer true value to the people on both the giving and receiving ends of marketing.
