SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. — The Lake Anna community is mourning the loss of 35-year-old William Aimino, who tragically lost his life in a head-on collision Thursday afternoon, Dec. 5.
The crash occurred at approximately 1:40 p.m. near Patriot Highway and Orchard Ridge Drive. According to the Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office, Aimino was driving a 2024 Chevrolet Colorado northbound when his vehicle crossed the centerline, colliding with a southbound 2005 International flatbed truck.
Aimino, who was wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The Traffic Reconstruction Unit is actively investigating the incident.
