We had an award winning newspaper in College: ‘The Renegade Rip.’ Then, it was a real newspaper.
Before I graduated and moved across the country, the college announced that Cathy… our professor… the woman that held the newspaper together, pushed us to excellence, and taught us everything we knew… was going to be replaced due to budget cuts.
It didn’t just impact our news team, it changed the face of The Renegade Rip forever. Why? Because journalism isn’t meant for fancy newsletters that sit on shelves and never get read… ‘The Renegade Rip’ was the chronologist, to represent a moment in time, and record history.
It wasn’t a college program, it was a collection of recorded stories that would have otherwise been lost.
In a world where information is abundant… truth and clarity are often elusive. We journalists serve our communities to capture stores and shape the narrative that defines our collective history. Our role is not to just report facts, but uncover truths, illuminate new perspectives, and foster an understanding with our communities. To bring us all together.
At the heart of journalism lie three fundamental values: truth, clarity, and community. As publishers, we recognize the immense responsibility that comes with our role in shaping the discourse and shaping the narrative. We are committed to upholding the highest standards of journalistic integrity, fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct in all that we do.
Today, the role of journalists has never been more vital. We are the chroniclers of our past, the witnesses to our present, and the architects of our future. Let us celebrate and support the contributions of journalists everywhere, and let us reaffirm our commitment to truth, clarity, and community in all that we do.

Hi! I’m Jennifer Bailey and I partner with entrepreneurs who have massive ideas that could change the world. Most marketing is meaningless. Filled with empty promises, its only job is to bring in new traffic, new leads, and new customers. But I’ve drawn a line in the sand, and I’ve learned that marketing can do so much more than reach business goals and build profit. My methods give businesses the fire and soul they need to reach the right people, set the groundwork for sustainable relationships, and offer true value to the people on both the giving and receiving ends of marketing.
