Yesterday afternoon, around 2:15 PM, authorities discovered a body floating in Lake Anna, located in Spotsylvania County. Responding to a request from Spotsylvania officials, the Louisa County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) promptly sent deputies and detectives to the scene.
The body, identified as female, was recovered from the water and is being transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office for autopsy and identification. The LCSO has been investigating a possible drowning earlier this spring, which occurred in a different area of the lake.
Officials urge anyone with information to contact the LCSO CID Unit at (540) 967-1234 or anonymously through Louisa Crime Solvers at (800) 346-1466. All tips remain confidential, and rewards may be offered for valuable information.

Hi! I’m Jennifer Bailey and I partner with entrepreneurs who have massive ideas that could change the world. Most marketing is meaningless. Filled with empty promises, its only job is to bring in new traffic, new leads, and new customers. But I’ve drawn a line in the sand, and I’ve learned that marketing can do so much more than reach business goals and build profit. My methods give businesses the fire and soul they need to reach the right people, set the groundwork for sustainable relationships, and offer true value to the people on both the giving and receiving ends of marketing.
