Lake Anna is about to get a charge of something new—and silent. A major innovation in boating is coming ashore this summer as Electrified Marina, a cutting-edge electric watercraft dealer based in Norfolk, makes its Lake Anna debut with a one-day showcase event on Friday, June 28. The public is invited to experience this exclusive, hands-on look at the future of sustainable boating. Visitors can walk the docks, explore next-gen vessels, and take guided test rides on a curated fleet of fully electric boats.
The event is hosted by Electrified Marina co-founder Erick Pinzon, a boating enthusiast with a passion for clean tech and a professional background at Tesla. Together with a team of innovators and marine specialists, Pinzon built Electrified Marina on a shared love of the water—and a desire to reshape the industry.
“Electric boating isn’t just a trend—it’s a revolution,” said Pinzon. “We’re offering boaters a smarter, quieter, and cleaner way to enjoy the water without compromising performance or fun. This is about creating a better boating experience for both people and the planet.”
From powerboats and deck cruisers to social pontoons and personal watercraft, the vessels on display represent some of the most advanced designs in electric boating today. Guests will have the opportunity to see them up close, ask questions, and take them for a spin on Lake Anna’s scenic waters.
Electric boats are quickly gaining traction nationwide, and for good reason. They deliver an ultra-quiet ride that allows boaters to fully immerse themselves in the sounds of nature—something gas-powered motors just can’t offer. No fumes, no rumble—just clean propulsion and smooth gliding across the lake.
But the benefits go far beyond peace and quiet. Electric boats produce zero emissions and eliminate fuel spills and oily runoff, helping to preserve the water quality and natural habitats of places like Lake Anna. They also offer boat owners long-term savings. With fewer moving parts and no internal combustion systems, electric motors are more efficient and less prone to costly repairs. This makes them both economical and low-maintenance—ideal for both new boaters and seasoned lake lovers.
And when it comes to safety, electric boats have a strong edge. Without flammable fuel, fumes, or hot engine components, they provide a safer environment for families, kids, pets, and anyone looking to relax without worry.
Electrified Marina is currently the only 100% electric watercraft dealer in the country, earning a national reputation for their expertise and customer service. Their mission is to empower the next generation of boaters with cleaner, greener solutions that don’t sacrifice performance or style.
The June 28 showcase at Lake Anna is free and open to the public, but space is limited and RSVPs are required.

Hi! I’m Jennifer Bailey and I partner with entrepreneurs who have massive ideas that could change the world. Most marketing is meaningless. Filled with empty promises, its only job is to bring in new traffic, new leads, and new customers. But I’ve drawn a line in the sand, and I’ve learned that marketing can do so much more than reach business goals and build profit. My methods give businesses the fire and soul they need to reach the right people, set the groundwork for sustainable relationships, and offer true value to the people on both the giving and receiving ends of marketing.
