The Lake Anna Business Partnership (LABP) is introducing a new way for locals to save on their local purchases: the Lake Anna Card. Designed like a credit card to fit in anyone’s wallet, the card offers year-round discounts at participating food and beverage establishments while contributing to a vital scholarship fund.
“For just $20, the Lake Anna Card provides an entire year of savings at some of the area’s best restaurants, breweries, and wineries. Not only will cardholders quickly recoup their initial investment, but they’ll also experience the satisfaction of supporting local businesses,” said Jim McCoy, an LABP board member who started the initiative. “LABP member establishments can feature their promotions on the back of the card at no additional cost. This initiative underscores LABP’s commitment to the success of its members, offering them a unique opportunity to attract more customers without any financial burden.”
In previous years, the LABP coordinated the Lake Anna Restaurant Week, where local establishments would give a percentage of their profits back to support the scholarship fund. Last year, the fund awarded $2,500 to three deserving students – one each from Louisa, Orange, and Spotsylvania Counties. With the launch of this card, the goal is to increase the number of scholarships, potentially doubling or tripling the impact on local students. All profits from the Lake Anna Card will go directly to the LABP Scholarship Fund.

Hi! I’m Jennifer Bailey and I partner with entrepreneurs who have massive ideas that could change the world. Most marketing is meaningless. Filled with empty promises, its only job is to bring in new traffic, new leads, and new customers. But I’ve drawn a line in the sand, and I’ve learned that marketing can do so much more than reach business goals and build profit. My methods give businesses the fire and soul they need to reach the right people, set the groundwork for sustainable relationships, and offer true value to the people on both the giving and receiving ends of marketing.
